James Lynn Isbell, 60, a native of Haskell, Texas, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at his home in Grand Prairie.

James was born September 8, 1949, the son of the late Lee Roy Isbell and the late Ruby Mae Scheets.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Angelia Isbell; son, Monte Lynn Isbell; daughter, Casandra Dawn Isbell and her husband Alvin Brown; granddaughters, Angelia Marie Isbell, Alexis Leeshawn Brown and Markella Raylynn Brown; siblings, Kenneth Isbell and his wife Penny, Sandra Sanders and her husband Jacky, Roy Isbell, Jerry Isbell and his wife Karen, Rev. Bobby Isbell and his wife Nancy, Cynthia Clark and her husband Tommy.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial: 4 p.m. at Atwell Cemetery.
