Felix was born March 30, 1952, the son of the late Guillermo Romero and the late Paula Quiroz in Sonora, Texas. He would move to South Dakota, where he was adopted into a native American family, and would live there until eventually moving to Texas.
Felix was a hard worker. He achieved his Commercial Driving License and would drive a concrete mixer truck for several years. He would also work with a roofing contractor, working in Florida for an extended period of time after one of the devastating hurricanes.
He always enjoyed tinkering and working on cars. When the opportunity presented itself, he was also quick to be the cook for the grill. He had a good heart, and enjoyed being the life of any party.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Mario Romero and a sister, Margarita Nunez.
He is survived by his son; Santiago "Jimmy" Pena, sisters; Lupe Samaniego & Guillermina Benavides, numerous Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation: 12 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Rosary and prayer service: 7 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at a later date at Senora Cemetery in Senora, Texas. |
