Billie Jean Moseley Fite, 82, a native of Sulphur Springs and long time resident of DeSoto, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at a local care center.

Billie Fite was born Febraury 18, 1927, the youngest of two children born to Irvin Moseley and Thelma Lackey Moseley. She was a homemaker and caregiver for her mother until the time of her mother's death in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Joe Moseley.

Survivors: 8 cousins.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2010 at Rockdale Cemetery in Sulphur Springs where she will be buried close to her parents and brother.
